Archie and the journey from there
Hi, I am Sarah 20 years ago I was chosen by a Rhodesian Ridgeback called Archie who was my doggy soul mate. Learning to help him with his big emotions enabled Archie and I to have the most fun together be it running through the woods, chilling in the sunshine or cuddles at night! All my dogs have been like Archie, big emotions, nervous or fearful of certain situations – this is why I have become a dog trainer to share my experience and knowledge with you.

We’ve always had a great experience with Sarah!
We’ve been training our golden retriever pup Tali with Sarah from the start with a mix of 1-2-1 sessions, and group IMDT courses levels 1 & 2. We’re so happy with Tali’s progress and I don’t know where we’d be without all the guidance and support.
Even between classes Sarah is engaged and proactive - sharing tips via whatsapp group, or if we are struggling with something sending a recording of her training with her own dogs which has been really helpful.
It is easy to tell Sarah is very passionate, and is always expanding on her expertise and dropping tips from a wide range of books, videos and sharing experience between other dog trainers.

We’ve done both group classes and one to ones with Barkshire Dog Training and I couldn’t recommend Sarah enough! I'm not sure what we would have done without her during that initial phase when we first brought Cosmo home as a rescue puppy, as she provided so much helpful advice and training tips. Sarah also worked with Cosmo on overcoming his fear of loud noise and we’ve seen him progress so much.
